I met Lou and Bobbie in Wichita, KS. Bobbie and I started work the same day at Continental Trailways in 1956. We've been close friends since that time. Lou was great on the Steel Guitar, and he could sing. No wonder he received lots of awards. RIP dear friend. Anita Fox-Birdwell, Kiowa, KS.

I Met Lou while playing a gig and he walked up to me after playing San Antonio Rose and thanked me for playing Western Swing . He gave me his CD and told me he had been playing Western Swing his whole life.
